Virtual pets and more.

I am addicted to this site. This is how it works. You create an account, create a pet, not all pet species are available though. Some you can get through hard work or luck.

What I like about this site is that you'll never get bored. There's something in the site for you no matter what you're into.

If you're a good businessman, you can do "restocking". It's about buying stuff from the main stores or other players' stores and selling them on your own and making profits. You can also try their trading post and see if you can get a good deal. You can also bid on expensive and rare items, or even not-so-rare ones that other players put up for auction. They also have the stock market where you can make lots of neopoints (Neopets Money) if you make the right decisions.

You can also collect avatars. There are some that are really easy to get but there are some that you really have to work for and a few where all you can do is hope. There are some guilds that require a certain number of avatars before you can get in and I'll explain the guilds later.

If you are good with games, there are lots of them to choose from and if you're better than the others, you can collect trophies to display on your user look-up or trophy cabinet. Some avatars are also attainable when you make certain point with the games.

Other than the avatars, you can also collect stuff. There are stamps, petpets, jellies, pink colored items, or whatever you desire to collect and display on your gallery.

If you like making graphics and you're good with HTML or CSS, you can also practice and let other people appreciate your talet through customizing your user look-up, and other neopets pages layout with your personal artworks.

Chatter? You can also chat with other players on the Neoboards. It has different sub-forums for you to choose from depending upon your interests.

Now if you're an avid fan of a certain neopet, a celeb, a tv show, a movie, a music artist, anime, role-playing or whatever you can think of, you can join a guild with people who share your interests. You can also start your own if you like.

Some people say it's a waste of time, buying fake stuff through earned fake money. But I love this game and what I like most about it is getting to know people from different places, different cultures and making new friends.
